A cat bit off a little more than it could chew when it decided to stalk a deer in a Kamloops backyard this week.
A video posted to YouTube, Aug. 31, shows a black cat stalking a deer on a green lawn in a Kamloops backyard. Despite the cat's stealthy approach, the deer spots the feline almost immediately.
The deer continues eating leaves, nonchalantly keeping an eye on the kitty.
Following a noise from off-screen, the deer runs away up a nearby hill, with the 'fearsome' house cat in hot pursuit.
The person shooting the video can be heard scolding the cat, which seems a little pleased to have the yard all to itself once more.
