Studio 9 teachers and staff got a personal thanks from singer Alicia Keys on Friday.

On April 3, Alisha Keys was on the Colbert Show and she gave out her number asking the audience to text her for a personal message to stay strong in these times, according to the Studio 9 School of the Arts, in a Facebook post.

After the school sent a text, Keys responded on April 24, and she even wrote a song for the Studio 9 teachers and staff.

"You're doing a good job, don't get too down. The world need you now," she sang.
