An aerial glimpse of Kamloops can be seen in a new video of construction underway at Royal Inland Hospital.
The video, posted on YouTube by Houle Electric, shows the installation process for three generators on to the ninth floor of the new hospital tower.

The generators will help support the power needs of the hospital and its new patient care tower, which is still under construction.
"The tower is about 75 per cent complete right now. It is set to be complete and open to patients in summer 2022. No more defined opening date has been set at this time," Interior Health spokesperson Kevin Parnell said in an email to iNFOnews.

More construction to the hospital, including major renovations to the emergency department, will begin after the tower is open.
Design work is currently underway on that phase of the project, Parnell said.
Construction began on the tower in September 2018.
