iN VIDEO: A message for Remembrance Day at home

Remembrance Day services around the region may be cancelled or actively discouraged but you can still find a few minutes today to remember why we have these ceremonies.

Governor-General Julie Payette released this video today featuring videos of a number of Canadian veterans talking about the war and the sacrifice they know.

While many communities will have regular Remembrance Day activities at 11 a.m. today, health orders prohibit gathering of groups larger than 50 so the public is being asked to stay home this year. You can still support the Royal Canadian Legion poppy fund by buying a poppy today.
