Wild animals are busy having springtime buffets in Kamloops and the Okanagan, and while some are filling their bellies other less fortunate ones are becoming snacks.

Squirrels, chipmunks and song birds enjoy fruits and berries, but predatory birds are hungry for meatier meals.

Area photographers captured a variety of wildlife species tucking into tasty treats this spring, and some are pictured chewing with their mouths wide open.

If you have photos of wildlife you want to share, send them to news@infonews.ca.
