Kamloops photographers have been capturing photos of a local celebrity known to frequent McArthur Park.

While conservation officers have been warning park-goers to give plenty of space to the lynx that appears to be making a food stop in the area and avoid crowding the animal, some photographers have managed to capture these photos from a distance.

Conservation officers say that this photogenic cat will remain in the park for now since it has a stable food source of ducks.

These photographers have used long range lenses to avoid close contact. Anyone looking to catch a glimpse of the MacArthur Island lynx can catch some photos from local photographers here, leaving it safe to continue living out the season at the park.
