Outdoor enthusiast Myron Rosvick got a special treat when he headed to Lodgepole Lake in the Kamloops area a couple of days ago. Three coyotes appeared to be playing in the freshly fallen snow.
“They were frolicking in the snow, crossing over an icy pond,” he said. “It was a beautiful clear day. You never know what you’re going to find when you head out, it was the luck of the draw.”
He said the coyotes heard his camera shutter going off and looked up at him briefly before running away.
“I set the shutter speed and got some decent pictures, the brightness of the snow behind them made it easy to get good photos," Rosvick said.
He never goes out to the woods without his camera “just in case,” and in the future he's hoping to spot some coyotes hunting for mice.
“You just get out there and see what you see, sometimes you just enjoy the trip out.”
