KELOWNA – If you attended the tenth Centre of Gravity festival this weekend, you likely noticed the arrival of a daring new fashion statement.
We're not sure what's exactly behind this trend, butt it didn't seem to be as prevalent in years past. Plenty of people were talking about it but most opinions were right down the middle.
We needed to get to the bottom of it, so we asked around. One festival-goer from Penticton suggested it was a trend started recently by Miley Cyrus but he may have been just cracking jokes.
“She did it a few years ago, now it’s a normal thing,” he said. “I think it’s great.”
While men mostly continued the fad of going shirtless and showing multiple tattoos, many women seemed split on the idea as they liberated their cheeks to the gluteus maximus.
