The Easter long weekend forecast for Kamloops and the Okanagan is looking good, with a mix of sun and cloud, and warming temperatures.

Good news for Kamloops and Okanagan residents hoping to spend time outdoors this Easter long weekend, the forecast is calling for sunshine and warming temperatures.
Environment Canada says it should be mainly clear, or at worst a mix of sun and cloud Good Friday through to Monday with temperatures in a comfortable seasonal range in the low to mid teens.
Kamloops might see showers overnight Saturday, but that’s all the precipitation in the long weekend forecast.
Today, March 31, and tomorrow should see a mix of sun and cloud with highs ranging from 12 Celsius to 15 C in Kamloops and the Okanagan.
On Good Friday, expect mainly sunny conditions and a high of 13 C in Kamloops, 12 C in Vernon, Kelowna and Penticton.
Saturday and Sunday should see similar conditions, with a mix of sun and cloud both days, and highs of 16 C and 15 C for Kamloops, and 15 C and 13 C for Vernon, Kelowna and Penticton.
Monday will be very spring-like with with a sun and cloud mix and a high of 16 C in the Okanagan, and 18 C in Kamloops.
Normal daily high and low temperatures for Kamloops in late March are 14 C and 1 C. Vernon, Kelowna and Penticton normals are 12 C and 1 C.
