KAMLOOPS - A car lost control on a Heffley Creek area road yesterday evening and police are saying poor road conditions were a factor in the crash.
The driver and passenger of the car are uninjured. Fire rescue crews were required to extract the pair, according to a Kamloops RCMP release.
RCMP say yesterday, March 5 at about 4:30 p.m. police and emergency crews were called to the crash about two kilometres east of Sun Peaks on the Heffley Louis Creek Road.
"A witness saw a grey car lose control and go across the road in front of him, into the ditch then down an embankment," Staff Sgt. Doug Aird says in the release.
Police say they were only going about 40 km per hour when they lost control.
