WEST KELOWNA - RCMP and the B.C. Coroners Service will not be releasing the name of a man whose remains were found last week although the investigation into his death continues.
Family of the 31-year-old Kelowna man have been notified, Kelowna RCMP media officer Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey said in a press release, and no “criminality” is believed to be involved in his sudden death.
Human remains were first reported by someone walking by around 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, near the intersection of Campbell Road and Campbell Place in West Kelowna.
The remains were approximately 200 metres down an embankment, police say.
