KAMLOOPS - The Lower Mainland's homicide investigation team is asking for the public's help in finding a 27-year-old murder suspect.
Cpl. Frank Jang with the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says in a news release that investigators are trying to track down Brandon Teixeira, who is believed to be extremely violent, and is considered armed and dangerous.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to Teixeira's arrest.
“IHIT will continue its search for Brandon Teixeira until he is in police custody,” says Jang. “We believe the reward offered by Crime Stoppers will provide an extra incentive to those with intimate knowledge of Mr. Teixeira’s current whereabouts to come forward.”
Last month, Teixeira was charged with first degree murder in connection to the shooting death of Nicholas Khabra, 28, on Oct. 23, 2017 in Surrey.
He's described as Caucasian, 5'10", 161 lbs., with brown eyes, brown hair, a snake tattoo on the left side of his chest, and a sleeve tattoo on his left arm.
