Gatineau coach Benoit Groulx named head coach of Canada's national junior team

MONTREAL - Gatineau Olympiques head coach Benoit Groulx will serve as Canadian head coach at the 2015 world junior hockey championship.

Hockey Canada also says that Dave Lowry and Scott Walker will serve as assistant coaches.

The 46-year-old Groulx served as an assistant under Brent Sutter at the 2014 tournament.

The 2015 world junior championship will be held December 26th through January 5th in Montreal and Toronto.

Canada settled for a fourth-place finish at the 2014 tournament.
