PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. - Mac Engel made 21 saves as the Prince George Cougars blanked the visiting Everett Silvertips 4-0 on Saturday in Western Hockey League play.
Colin Jacobs scored twice for the Cougars (15-28-6), who halted a three-game winless streak, while Rinalds Rosinskis chipped in with three assists.
Jake Mykitiuk and Zach Pochiro had a goal apiece to round out Prince George's offence.
Austin Lotz made 35 saves in a losing cause for the Silvertips (21-26-3), who lost in regulation for the first time in six outings.
Prince George went 2 for 5 on the power play while Everett failed to score on five chances with the man advantage.
