EDMONTON - Gavin McKenna had two goals and an assist and the visiting Medicine Hat Tigers scored three unanswered goals in the third period to beat the Edmonton Oil Kings 5-3 in Western Hockey League action on Sunday at Rogers Place.
Mathew Ward, Hunter St. Martin and Marcus Pacheco also scored for the Central Division-leading Tigers (39-17-3-1), who outshot the hosts 39-28.
Adam Jecho scored twice for the Oil Kings (31-21-2-2), while Landon Hanson netted a single.
The Oil Kings went 2-for-3 on the power play, while the Tigers were 1-for-3.
