QMJHL roundup: Parent paces Olympiques to 5-3 win over Huskies

ROUYN-NORANDA, Que. - Isaiah Parent scored twice and Justin Boisselle had a goal and assist as the visiting Gatineau Olympiques defeated the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies 5-3 in Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League action on Sunday at Arena Glencore.

William-Alexis Tremblay and Jérémie Minville also scored for the Olympiques, who were outshot 33-26.

Goaltender Iain Wintle saved 30 of 33 shots for the visitors.

Samuel Rousseau, Antonin Verreault and Rémi Gélinas scored for the Huskies, who trailed 2-1 after the first period, but were tied 2-2 heading into the third.

Both teams went 0-for-4 on the power play.

BOISBRIAND, Que. — Justin Carbonneau scored three goals and Felix Hamel made 29 saves to earn the shutout as the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada whipped the visiting Victoriaville Tigres 10-0.

Brayden Besner and Mateo Nobert each scored twice for the Armada (20-16-2-0), while Egor Goriunov, Ludovik Grenier and Olivier Metcalfe netted singles.
