TORONTO - Nashville Predators winger Filip Forsberg returned to the lineup against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday after missing 17 games with a hand injury.
The 24-year-old last played in his team's 3-0 loss to the Arizona Coyotes on Nov. 29.
Despite the prolonged absence, Forsberg's 14 goals was tied with Craig Smith for first on the Predators heading into Monday.
The Swede's 22 points also put him sixth in team scoring.
Forsberg led Nashville with 64 points (26 goals, 38 assists) despite playing just 67 games last season.
