EDMONTON - Defenceman Martin Marincin and forward Roman Horak were recalled by the Edmonton Oilers from their minor-league affiliate on Thursday.
Marincin has played in two NHL games so far this season with two penalty minutes.
The 21-year-old has three goals, four assists and a plus-5 rating in 24 games with the American Hockey League's Oklahoma City Barons this season.
Horak will be making his first appearance with the Oilers.
The 22-year-old was traded to Edmonton from the Calgary Flames on Nov. 8, alongside goaltending prospect Laurent Brossoit in exchange for forward Ladislav Smid and minor-league goalie Olivier Roy.
Horak has five goals and 13 assists with a minus-5 rating over 82 NHL games with Calgary. He has five goals, six assists and a minus-2 rating with Oklahoma City this season.
