EDMONTON - The Edmonton Oilers have signed goaltender Samuel Jonsson to a three-year entry-level contract, the NHL team said Saturday.
The six-foot-five 201-pound netminder was selected in the fifth round (No. 158 overall) of the 2022 NHL Draft.
Jonsson posted a 1.88 goals-against average and 17-6-0 record over 24 games with BIK Karlskoga this past season in his native Sweden.
