A slide has closed traffic in both directions on Highway 97 in Summerland.
It happened around 7 p.m. near Lakeshore Drive South. Drive B.C. is reporting that an assessment is in progress and the next update is coming at 10 p.m.
A detour can be taken through town by travelling along GIant's Head Road.
