Highway 97 is closed in both directions this afternoon after a truck hauling lumber rolled over, spilling debris onto the road.

Drive B.C. reported the incident at around 3 p.m. at Waterman Hill in Okanagan Falls, causing long traffic delays.

The highway is closed in both directions, according to Melissa Gelowitz, who said her husband saw the incident.

Emergency crews are on scene.

More to come.
