SUMMERLAND — Drivers are being turned around after a rock slide hit Highway 97 this morning.
Drive B.C. says the rock slide occurred between Callan Road and N Beach Road for 1.6 kilometres, north of Summerland.
Officials are currently assessing the scene. A geo-technical engineer is enroute.
Detours are available on Highway 97C, Highway 5A, and Highway 3A.
