UPDATE: Highway 5A completely reopened between Kamloops and Merritt

Highway 5A has reopened after some flooding this morning.

The 96.7 kilometre route between Junction Hwy 97C and Hillside Way, from Kamloops to Merritt, was reduced to single-lane alternating traffic this morning, May 22, according to Drive B.C.

The road is now clear, according to Drive B.C.
