Highway 3 has reopened following a multi-vehicle accident this morning.

AIM Roads reported the multi-vehicle accident 1.2 kilometres east of Hedley.

The Trans-Canada Highway will also be partially closed Monday, Feb. 28 between Lindburg Road and Des Fosses Road, 14 km east of Chase so highway crews can recover a vehicle following an accident yesterday.

The road will be reduced to single lane, alternating traffic from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. tomorrow, according to DriveB.C.

- This story was updated at 11:18 a.m. to say the highway has reopened.
