OSOYOOS - Investigators say speed was a factor in the crash of a super car near Osoyoos last night.
RCMP says two men from the Lower Mainland suffered non life-threatening injuries after crashing a 2016 McLaren 570S on Highway 3 near Richter Pass Road west of Osoyoos around 6 p.m. yesterday, Sept. 28.
The high-end luxury car, worth roughly $200,000, was travelling eastbound when the driver lost control and it left the highway, according to an RCMP media release.
Sgt. Jason Bayda says the 28-year-old driver and his 50-year-old passenger were transported to hospital.
The early police investigation points to speed as a factor in the crash, which caused major damage to the vehicle.
