	VERNON - Vernon voters have lots of choice for the city's four spots on the school board.
	There are nine candidates running for the four Vernon trustee positions. In Lumby, there are two school trustee spots and three candidates.
	No one ran against incumbent trustee Robert Lee for the one Coldstream trustee position, so he has already been declared the winner.
	One incumbent trustee, Robert Lee, has been acclaimed to sit on the board representing Coldstream.
	School trustees are responsible for the hiring of principals, vice principals, as well as approving courses and school plans and provide feedback on major decisions regarding school. For more information on what does a school board trustee do go here.
	Municipal election day is Oct. 20.
