Here's what you can do in Kamloops this weekend

KAMLOOPS - Halloween is next Wednesday but many restaurants and community groups will be celebrating with spooky festivities this weekend.

Kamloops Makerspace will be hosting a three-day Halloween event at the Kamloops Courthouse Gallery.

The old courthouse is transformed into a haunted house. The “Haunted Old Courthouse” event will run from Friday, Oct. 26 to Sunday, Oct. 28 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The admission fee is $5 and all proceeds go to Kamloops Makerspace. Go here for more information.

Dress up in costume on Saturday, Oct. 27 and head to Chapters Kamloops to enjoy a “changing slime time station”. The event starts at 11 a.m. and participants will have a chance to win a Goosebumps give-away as well. Go here for more details on this free event.

The annual Kamloops Zombie Walk will take place on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. The walk will end with a rest stop at Red Collar and is open to all ages. Go here for more details.

A joint art project put together by the Kamloops Art Gallery and the Kamloops Regional Farmers’ Market is celebrating more than 40 years of participation in the community from both groups. Head to the Farmers’ Market Saturday morning to have your photo taken and share your insight on how to create resilient communities. Go here for more details.

Hello Baby is hosting their Kamloops Fall show on Saturday for expecting mothers at 540 Seymour St. The fall show will feature Hello Baby vendors including products and services for new mothers. Vendors will include clothing, accessories, maternity clothing, midwives and doulas, sleep consultants and more. Go here for more details.
