WestJet has expanded the list of flights on which passengers might have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.

Most of the 21 flights affected have listed specific rows which leave passengers at risk of contracting the virus.

Anyone who was seated in the affected rows is asked to self-isolate for two weeks. For those who were seated outside of the affected rows, they are advised to monitor for signs of a cough, fever or respiratory issues.

Some of the affected flights landed or took off from terminals at Kelowna International Airport, Vancouver International Airport, Grand Prairie Airport, Calgary International Airport and Toronto Pearson Airport, among others.

The 21 affected flights occurred between Feb. 28 and March 12.

While WestJet has provided updated information on which passengers may be at risk, Air Canada has not yet released a public list which has some of its crew members concerned.

Information about affected flights has been listed on an Alberta government document. It shows seven flights arriving in Calgary were carrying an infected person, with one of those flights departing from Vancouver. There are 11 affected flights listed from March 2 to March 13.
