A spring storm is bringing more snow to the Coquihalla Highway today.

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the Coquihalla Highway from Merritt to Hope as heavy snow continues today, March 30.

The warning says conditions are favourable for another five to 10 centimetres of snow to fall on some locations along the highway this morning with accumulations totalling up to 25 cm by this evening.

Drivers had to deal with intense bursts of snow flurries on the upper elevation highway over the weekend.

Environment Canada warns motorists should be aware of decreased visibility during times of heavy snow today as conditions on the mountain highway can change suddenly.
