UPDATED: Highway 3 partially reopens following vehicle accidents

Highway 3 has partially opened this afternoon after closing due to vehicle accidents and poor weather conditions.

Multiple vehicle accidents occurred today between Garret Road and Copper Mountain Road.

The highway was partially closed in the westbound lane earlier today, Dec. 12, due to a vehicle incident. It reopened, then fully closed shortly afterwards.
