PENTICTON - Ford Taurus appears to be a popular model among Penticton car thieves lately.

Penticton resident Naleen Barchuk reports her friend’s 2004 grey Ford Taurus was stolen between 11 a.m. and noon today, Oct. 5.

The vehicle was parked in front of Nancy’s Nails in the Walmart plaza. The vehicle has a red dream catcher hanging from the rearview mirror and has plate number BN0 50E.

Penticton RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth also reports a 2000 Ford Taurus was taken from an Abbott Street address sometime within the week preceding Wednesday, Sept. 28.

If you see either of these vehicles or know anything about the thefts, call Penticton RCMP at 250-492-4300.
