Have you found the Mad Hatter's Easter egg in the Okanagan?

For anybody looking for Easter eggs this weekend, there’s a virtual rabbit hole worth going down in Lake Country.

But you won’t won’t find the Easter bunny down there – you’ll see the white rabbit, the one who’s famously late for a very important date. Fortunately, the white rabbit appears to be on time for this Mad Hatter Tea Party at Beasley Park.

The celebration itself is held at a picnic table near Wood Lake, but getting there is half the fun.

“Begin at the beginning and the go on till you come to the end. Then stop,” reads a poster held up by a young girl dressed as Alice in Wonderland. She is standing on a trail in the park where large playing cards have been strewn around.

The tea party can only be attended via street view on Google Maps. To join in, drag the little person over the blue circles at Beasley Park. Then click around.

A young boy plays the part of the white rabbit and is anxiously checking his pocket watch.

As the path is wandered down and guests arrive at the tea party, they are met by the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts.

And somewhere in the trees is the cheshire cat.
