Mounties examine memory card related to woman's hang-gliding death

AGASSIZ, B.C. - Mounties have now viewed the contents of a memory card thought to be related to a deadly hang-gliding mishap in British Columbia's Fraser Valley last April.
But Constable Tracy Wolbeck says she can't discuss the contents of the video connected to the death of 27-year-old Lenami Godinez-Avila.
Wolbeck says the evidence could be used in the April 2013 trial of pilot William Orders, who was charged with obstruction of justice for allegedly swallowing the card from his camera.
Orders remained in custody until the memory card passed through his system.
Godinez-Avila's boyfriend bought the gliding adventure to celebrate their two-year anniversary and was watching and waiting for his own turn when the woman fell from her harness.
On Wednesday, the Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association of Canada issued a report saying human error caused Godinez-Avila to plunge 300 metres to her death.
