Dan Hines is the BC Greens Candidate for Kamloops — South Thompson.

“The pandemic has made us all aware of how interdependent we are. We need each other. I am grateful for the strong support of so many people who encouraged me to run in this snap BC election. We are all learning how to best respond to this uncertain time and now this quick rollercoaster ride over these next four weeks," Hines said in a press release.

We need a new collaborative approach to politics and governance. We need to look past the next election cycle and consider the future: our economic recovery and community well-being. I am grateful to share more in the weeks ahead about the vision of the BC Greens and the new leader Sonia Furstenau”.

Hines ran for office in Kamloops North Thompson as a BC Green Candidate in the 2017 BC Election and is an international leadership consultant and workshop facilitator.

According to biographical information from the party, Hines spent the last two years consulting in Beijing, China and has travelled extensively throughout North America. He is an Anglican priest and an activist for innovative housing.

In the upcoming fall election, Hines is up against incumbent MLA for Kamloops – South Thompson Todd Stone.
