Go outside: Warmer days coming for Kamloops

There's lots of sunshine in this week's Kamloops forecast.

It’s promising to be a great week to enjoy some early spring outdoor weather in the Kamloops area, no matter what you might not be doing, given the latest COVID-19 restrictions.

Environment Canada’s forecast is calling for mostly sunny skies right through next weekend for Kamloops, with temperatures reaching close to the mid-teens by Saturday.

The weather should be great for a stroll while practising social distancing of course.

After dipping to - 8 C overnight tonight, Tuesday should start with a mix of sun and cloud before giving way to sunny skies and a high of 9 C, with similar conditions expected Wednesday.

Thursday might see a mix of sun and clouds, with similar temperatures.

As next weekend rolls around, daily highs should begin ramping up, with sunshine and a high of 10 C on Friday.

A mix of sun and cloud with temperatures hitting 14 C on Saturday and Sunday should be accompanied by lows of around the 0 C to -1 C mark.

Kamloops can normally expect a high and low of 11 C and -1 C  this time of year.
