ARDMORE, Pa. - The second round has been completed at the U.S. Open, with Phil Mickelson and Billy Horschel still in the lead.

About half the field returned Saturday morning to finish their rounds in a championship that fell behind schedule when storms moved through the Philadelphia area on Thursday.

Mickelson and Horschel are both 1 under, and are the only players in the red. Luke Donald, Steve Stricker and Justin Rose are at even par.

Tiger Woods was tied for 13th at 3 over.

Defending champion Webb Simpson was at 5 over, and Masters champion Adam Scott stood at 7 over, just inside the cut line of 8 over on the challenging Merion course.

David Hearn (69) of Brantford, Ont., and Mike Weir (76) of Bright's Grove, Ont., both made the cut.
