Kamloops vinyl lovers, you’re in for a treat tomorrow.
Barnacle Records is holding its annual sale which sees the store packed with bargain hunters and vintage vinyl fans.
Ronan McGrath is the co-owner of Barnacle Records and says what was once a semi-regular sale just to get rid of stock has now become an annual event that music lovers flock to.
“The reason we do a once annual sale is simply because we have so much stuff that has not been dealt with," McGrath says. “This year we have so much stuff that fits the top priority in terms of artists or the titles behind them and the demand that exists, it’s as if we were prepared to go to a record swap somewhere due to the sheer amount of volume.”
"Selling the stuff cheaply and in a curated way... that's our way of giving back to our customers who have made this a reality for us."
Check out the sale tomorrow, Nov. 22, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. at Barnacle Records located in downtown Kamloops at 290 3 Avenue.
