KELOWNA – Another sure sign that spring is just around the corner is the full opening of scenic Knox Mountain Drive in Kelowna.

The gates remain locked during winter, but the gate to the first lookout opened to vehicle traffic March 11.

As of today, March 24 residents have full access to all lookouts from 9:30 a.m. until 9 p.m Monday to Saturday.

They will also be open noon to 9 p.m. on Sunday.

Dogs are permitted but must be on-leash and owners are reminded to bring bags to pick up after their dogs and dispose of it in waste bins.

For more information on city parks and public spaces visit the City of Kelowna website.
