PENTICTON - A man previously convicted of offences in Kelowna and Winnipeg is back behind bars following his arrest in Osoyoos on the weekend.
Osoyoos RCMP arrested Donald Bryce Lyons at his residence on Feb. 21 after his parole was revoked, according to an RCMP news release. Lyons was apprehended without incident after a Canada Wide warrant was issued for his arrest. He has been linked to the Independent Soldiers. He is currently being held in custody.
Lyons was serving an eight year sentence for drug, violence and weapons offences stemming from incidents in Winnipeg and Kelowna and was recently released on parole. He was living in Osoyoos at the time of his most recent arrest.
