Police are searching for a statue of Jesus that was stolen from a cemetery in Kelowna.

The “Corpus” statue of Christ on the cross was stolen from the St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Cemetery in the 2800-block of Sexsmith Road between Jan. 10 and Jan. 15, according to a press release from police.

The statue is roughly three feet by four feet, one of the feet is broken, and the Corpus is believed to be made out of clay.

Kelowna RCMP are asking for the public’s help to track the statue down. Police hope that since the Corpus is unique and large that someone knows where it is.

Anyone with information has been asked to contact Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 and reference the file number 2025-4222.
