Four suspects have been arrested in connection to the beating death of a 22-year-old man in a school field near Penticton Secondary School in 2021.

Taig Savage was found badly beaten outside Penticton Secondary School during the early hours of Sept. 5, 2021. He succumbed to his injuries in hospital shortly after.

Penticton RCMP announced today, April 8, four arrests related to his homicide.

“Police are not releasing the identities of the suspects, three of whom were youths at the time of the murder," RCMP spokesperson Cpl. James Grandy said in a media release.

"Each of the accused either remain in custody, or are scheduled to appear in court at a future date.”

Since the matter is now before the courts police said they will not be sharing any further details.
