Former Kelowna Greyhound building sold for $5.25 million

KELOWNA - The former Kelowna Greyhound building is now storing different kinds of vehicles.

According to Jeff Hudson with HM Commercial, Kelowna Chrysler now owns the property on 2366 Leckie Road. The company bought the property for $5.25 million, closing the deal in January.

Hudson said Chrysler is currently using the property to store vehicles, although he's unsure what they plan to do with the site in the future. The two-acre property includes the 9,228 square-foot building.

Greyhound ceased service in the Okanagan on Oct. 31 last year, leaving the Kelowna building, and others like it, up for sale.
