KAMLOOPS - The B.C. Day long weekend is going to be perfect for getting outdoors in Kamloops with warm temperatures and very little rain in the forecast.
Environment Canada is calling for a high of 36 Celsius today, July 28, much higher than the seasonal normal of 29 C. The UV index for the day is 8, or very high. The temperature will drop down to 17 C in the evening.
Expect more of the same tomorrow with sunshine and a high of 34 C. The mercury will drop to 13 C overnight.
The forecast calls for a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 26 C on Saturday. The evening brings a 30 per cent chance of showers and a low of 13 C.
Sunday will be cooler with a forecasted high of 22 C and an overnight low of 12 C.
It's back to warm temperatures and clear skies on B.C. Day on Monday, with sunshine and a high of 29 C.
