TORONTO - Toronto Mayor Rob Ford has apologized to Toronto Star reporter Daniel Dale, saying he did not mean to suggest the journalist was a pedophile.
Dale served a libel notice last week which demanded the mayor retract televised comments he said amounted to an accusation of pedophilia against him.
