KELOWNA - Evacuation orders have been issued affecting at least 90 multi-family units, four homes and one business in Kelowna.

The properties all lie near Mill Creek. The flooding in the area has also closed a number of roads.

The 11 properties under evacuation order are: 534 and 539 Sutherland Ave.; 1955 and 1915 Pacific Court; 1902, 1936 and 1948 Lindahl Street; 1118, 1122 and 1130 Brookside Avenue and 543 Rowcliffe Ave.

Mill Creek had already creasted its banks yesterday, causing damage to structures on Adams Road.

Central Okanagan Emergency Operations lists eight roads as partially or completely closed:
Ethel Street from Cadder Avenue north to Sutherland Avenue

Sutherland Avenue from Pandosy Street to Richter Street

Buckland Avenue from Marshall Avenue to Ellis Street

Marshall Avenue

Burne Avenue from Richter Street to Ethel Street

Brookside Avenue from Gordon Drive going east and from Wilkinson Street going west

Spencer Road (though there is access through Country Rhodes Estates)

Bubna Road
