LAKE COUNTRY - A random act of vandalism in Lake Country has left residents outraged and looking for answers.
According to a post on the District of Lake Country Facebook page, fish incubators at the Oceola Fish and Game Club's Winfield Wildlife Preserve were recently damaged.
The District says the fish incubators have nurtured thousands of Kokanee that were released for anglers at Wood Lake. It was built and operated entirely by volunteers.
Anyone with information on this vandalism is encouraged to contact the RCMP at 250-766-2288.
