First Nations Health Authority vehicle found burned in downtown Kamloops

RCMP are investigating after a First Nations Health Authority vehicle, and an SUV next to it, were damaged by fire in a parking lot in Kamloops, Friday, Sept. 23, 2022.

Two trucks were burned in downtown Kamloops this past Friday, including one belonging to the First Nations Health Authority.

The health authority truck was burned in a parking lot at Lansdowne and 2nd Avenue in Kamloops at around 11:15 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, according to Kamloops RCMP.

An SUV was found nearby with minor fire damage to its passenger side.

According to witness reports, three people were seen fleeing the area, though no specific description was given to police. RCMP are hoping to speak with them.

Anyone with information or video related to the incident is asked to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and refer to file number 2022-33985.
