PENTICTON - Keremeos firefighters battled a blaze at a fruit stand in Cawston last night.
Keremeos fire chief Jordy Bosscha says they were called around 9:30 p.m. yesterday, Dec. 10, to a small fruit stand at the corner of Kurtz Road and Highway 3 in Cawston.
Firefighters arrived on scene to find the building engulfed in flames.
Bosscha says fire crews were on the scene for over three hours fighting the blaze.
The fruit stand was destroyed.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
