After months of unsettled weather and a good amount of rain, it looks like summer is finally here in Kamloops and the Okanagan.
At least for this week.
Environment Canada is forecasting sunny days with highs above 30 Celsius all week starting with a high of 33 C today, July 11, in the Okanagan and Kamloops. Tomorrow the mercury will climb to 34 C although Penticton will be slightly warming.

Sunshine and hot temperatures are expected to continue throughout the week although a mix of sun and cloud is forecast to start Friday in Kamloops, Saturday in the Okanagan.
Still, temperatures are expected to continue above normal.
Normal high temperatures for this time of year are around 27 C.
At this point, no heat advisories have been issued by Environment Canada as was done in June when temperatures reached the low 30s for the first time this year.
