KAMLOOPS - RCMP are following up on a break-and-enter and theft from a Kamloops bar last weekend and Crime Stoppers is appealing to the public for more information.
A suspect broke into the Dirty Jersey Sports Bar and Grill on the North Shore sometime overnight on Feb. 12 and he got away with a bit of loose change, liquor and pool cues according to Mark Price with Crime Stoppers.
Price says it’s unclear how the suspect got into the business, but adds there was little for him to steal. He allegedly searched the whole bar before leaving.
RCMP secured surveillance footage and collected fingerprints, Price says.
A media relations officer from Kamloops RCMP was unavailable to provide more details about the break-in or photos of the suspect from the surveillance video.
A spokesperson for the Dirty Jersey bar was unavailable for comment.
If you have any more information on the break-in you asked to call the Kamloops RCMP detachment at 250-828-3000 or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
